I have fixed that. The new ttf2tfm.exe will be available with the next
I also installed MikTeX 2.6. Initially I tried full setup on win xp. However
at sometime it got error and I switched to minimal setup. Then I install 2.6
on win vista. I selected minimal setup. I was absolutely satisfied. At right
time system asked my permission to elevate level. There was only few small
problem. When I run pdftex system setup a lot of packages (2.5 each time had
to run application one time more after each setup). However it met problem
with footmisc package. I run package wizard to setup footmisc. However setup
did not change counters on the screen. It was not clear if I setup package.
However when I closed screen I saw that package installed. Next problem was
with hyperref package. Pdftex.exe hanged at time when it was need to setup
default driver. When I started package wizard I saw that hyperref installed.
Next run of pdftex was smooth.
One more thing. Vista likes to put frequently used module in separate list.
Miktex 2.4 had module 'miktex update' and it was clean its goal. Since 2.5
this module simply named update, and it may be not clear from the list that
this is for miktex.
