I am installing winedt 5.6 and miktex 2.8 on a new win 7 x64 system.
latexing and creating dvi and ghostscript files works.
bring up the Window Media center.
clicking ps2pdf gives the message:
gswin32c.exe -dBatch - dNOPAUSE -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -r600 -dComp"
"alexcom.pdf" -c save pop -f alexcom.ps
The system cannot find the file specified.
The ps file is in the folder with the tex file.
Probably I need to alter the roots folder but how?
I installed using run as administrator - should this matter?
I have made the changes in the winedt menu suggested at
They had no effect (replacing mo by mo-admin etc in the winedt menu.
Possibly this on Microsoft rather than the miktex/winedt interface. I have
been unable to install a one year old Brother printer.
