Hello All, I have been having a problem with updating MikTex formats after yesterday's update. The log file seems to indicate that this is a problem with the hyph-utf8 package. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Thank you, Denise %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Denise L. Not sure what the problem is, but this is what I do in such cases. 1) Ensure that the file that is missing is actually on the system, in the TeX system tree. 2) Ensure that I have refreshed the FNDB Start->programs->MikTeX 2.9->Settings->Refresh FNDB 3) If file is not on system, try to google it, and you might find it online. Put it in a correct place, go to step 2 and try to rebuild format files. -----Original Message----- From: Marks, Denise [mailto:de...@us...] Sent: Thursday, June 14, 2012 10:51 AM To: 'li...@ni...'; 'A place for MiKTeX users to discuss MiKTeX related questions.' Ulrike, I opened the settings in user mode and removed the three languages as you suggested. As soon as I clicked the "Apply" button, a format update was automatically triggered which has resolved the issues. Thanks Denise: the fix worked. I recently updated Miktex 2.8, and had the dehypht-x-2009-06-19 problem. I located language.dat using kpsewhich, and modified the date to read 2012-05-30 The latex version compiled (pdflatex compiled without a problem, and didn't need the fix). Regards, Anand. |
