Greetings list! I am using MikTeX 2.8 on Windows XP. All my packages are up to date. I have a command that uses a file called caution.png. When I upgraded to 2.8, miktex started loading the package upmethodology, which replaced all my cautions (an ISO compliant symbol) with upmethodology's own caution symbol. This does not happen with TeXLive2008 or 2009. I have removed the upmethodology package, but then the PDF isn't generated. So far as I can tell, none of the packages I load in my document depend on upmethodology. A minimal working example on my machine is such: \documentclass{book} \usepackage{graphicx} \newcommand{\caution}{\textsf{{\includegraphics[height=12pt]{caution.png} CAUTION}}:} \begin{document} \caution\ dangerously wrong graphics! \end{document} I would assume this is a bug, but I have no idea. A simple work around is to change the name of caution.png, but this file is in a lot of documents, and I'd rather fix the problem then hand edit a few hundred files. Help! Thanks in advance! --Mica |
