I've recently installed MiKTeX 2.9 including Texworks as editor (see
http://miktex.org/2.9/setup, basic 64 bit)
I'm having some problems at downloading the missing packages.
Indeed, despite I had selected the option "installing missing packages
on the fly" in my settings, the system is not able to find them.
Apparently there is a connection issue since when I try to use both
the default package repository
others links the system lets me choose (I tried the UK's ones first,
should I choose anyone else in particular according to you?) I get
the following error types:
1) The operation could not be completed for the following reason:
Windows API error 5: Denied Access
2) A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not
properly respond after a period of time, or established connection
failed because connected host has failed to respond.
The same error occurs when I try to load the packages from Package manager.
Any suggestions about that?
