I just noticed a small problem with printing directly from YAP =
I've only been doing recently).
If I choose a range of pages, say from 5 to 10 in a 20 page document, =
ships out ALL the pages starting from page 5; i.e., it ignores my upper
limit. I've tried various printers and it's always the same. I do NOT =
this problem when printing from other types of viewer, say GhostView.
Moreover the "Print Postscript" simply doesn't work at all: it doesn't =
anything and most times gives NO error message either.
Whilst we at it, I also note that YAP has become dreadfully slow and =
to lock the dvi file at times; so that when I run LaTeX, I get messages
something like "Cannot write to file filename.dvi". Sometimes also when =
opens (launched by WinEdt) it tells me the dvi file is locked (I think) =
I have to hit the ok (or whatever) button maybe 10 or 15 times before it
I'm using the very latest MiKTeX (I always keep it well up-to-date) on =
machine (but I had the same problems under W2K).
