Hi, I've tried math mode already. Unfortunately it didn't change anything. Same goes for any possible alignment. But I found a possible workaround: I simply extended the length of the upper minus signs by adding an additional "-" and some extra space \; -- now they all at least look alike, although they're definitely no minus signs anymore. Just to sum this up: I now have a table in which the hyphen ("-"), i.e. the minus sign has the length of an en-dash ("--"). Still open for suggestions to do this the regular way, though. I really wonder why there doesn't seem to be so much out there on this topics given the fact that LaTeX is the mathematics' favourite toy, and we all know -- they love negative numbers. :) Oliver -- PGP welcome.
