Sorry. Am using latest MikTex 2.9 updates (ran the update fndb/formats thing as well), and XeLaTex (don't see a luatex option) Doesn't work using any font I can think of, including Arial. Not sure how to use non-system fonts, but fontspec says it can access them, so it should work (and it did work last time I used miktex 2-3 weeks ago. \documentclass[12pt,a4paper]{article} \usepackage{fontspec} \setmainfont{Calibri} \begin{document} blub \end{document} Error messages I get are: ! Undefined control sequence. <argument> \int_compare_p:nNn l.9 \setmainfont{Calibri} ? ! Missing number, treated as zero. <to be read again> \bool_=_0:w l.9 \setmainfont{Calibri} ? !
