Perhaps I'm not clearly following the thread or the bug report Ulrike linked to, as I am a bit confused about where the problem lies and what has already been solved. I have inverse search working fine with WinEdt, but I'm having the same problem as Yaakov when I use Emacs for inverse search. Like him, I am using the Emacs 22/AUCTeX 11.83 bundle. However, when I look at the source specials inside the DVI file I see no .tex extension on the file name. I have all of the latest MiKTeX updates. So which program is misbehaving? Should the source specials have the .tex extension, or is the fault of Emacs for not adding the .tex extension implicitly? Or am I completely missing something? Alan |
