The presence of a .tpm file doesn't necessarily mean beamer is installed on your system, only that it's in the last MiKTeX repository you accessed. If the .tpm file is all the evidence of beamer you have on your system then it is not installed. Open the package browser (you can find it in the MiKTeX program group on the Start menu), find beamer, select it, and click on the + button to install it. Alan |
