[MiKTeX] Is it possible to backup my miktex install for safety??

Evening all:

I have pretty much all packages downloaded and settled into place on my 
system. I started with the 'small' package and added from there. I use 
dialup, making this a real chore to complete.

Is there a cd available anywhere, or is it possible to just backup the 
program in some way to produce a safe copy that I can use to restore if 
my system went south on me? Anyone have any experiences or thoughts on 
this they would be willing to share? Off list if needs be?
