Dear Brigid K Mooney, I think the problem comes from the fact you use the underscore in the filename. Rename the file from: 41_2_enrol.eps to: 41-2-enrol.eps and try now. Then, if necessary, try also \includegraphics[width=3D0.40\textwidth]{./41-2-enrol.eps} best regards \thehyperjack Subject: [MiKTeX] inserting a figure into my document From: Brigid K Mooney B.K...@iu... 2004-08-24 18:37:10 Text: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am having trouble inserting a figure into my document. I try: \begin{figure} \centering \includegraphics[width=3D0.40\textwidth]{41_2_enrol.eps} \caption{Enrol Stuff} \label{fig:41_2_enrol} \end{figure} and it tells me that .eps is an invalid file extension or I try: \begin{figure} \centering \includegraphics[width=3D0.40\textwidth]{41_2_enrol} \caption{Enrol Stuff} \label{fig:41_2_enrol} \end{figure} and it tells me it cannot find the file even though they are in the same folder. Any hints? Thanks :) |
