Hi Hans, thanks for your help. The deadline is 28th February and I Cannot find a solution. I use a IEEE cls file they provide to declare the type of document I have. I work in Windows XP in WinEdt 5.3. Then I just click on the icon to run LaTeX. Then I used to click on the bottom dvitopdf to create the pdf file. But they send a file with the job options to create the PDF obeyibg the specifications they wnat. The reason is that the fonts have to be compliant with IEEE. Then I create the ps file in WinEdt (using the icon dvitops). I went to the Adobe Acrobat Distiller (which I set to use the job options as they say) and try to create the PDF. I get the following message: Adobe PDF Settings: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documentos\Adobe PDF 6.0 \Settings\IEEE_PDF_for_Acrobat6.joboptions %%[ Error: Times-Italic not found. Font cannot be embedded. ]%% %%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: findfont ]%% Stack: /Font (Times-Italic) 66.4176 52 {TeXBase1Encoding ReEncodeFont} -mark- 2 33 -mark- 36 22 22 22 -mark- 3 22 -mark- 1 18 33 33 33 -mark- 4 33 33 33 22 -mark- 6 41 41 44 48 41 41 -mark- 1 48 22 29 -mark- 1 37 55 -mark- 1 48 41 -mark- 1 41 33 37 -mark- 12 33 33 29 33 29 18 33 33 18 -mark- 2 18 48 33 33 33 33 26 26 18 33 29 -mark- 1 29 29 26 -mark- 133 /Fa %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%% %%[ Warning: PostScript error.
