I am using Yap 2.4.1596 and the latest MiKTeX updates
on a Windows ME system.
The problem occurs when I try to print one specific
page of a DVI file containing a serial letter.
When I do this by selecting in the "Print PostScript"
dialog the print method
"DVI->PostScript->Bitmaps->Printer" and the "Print
range":"Current page" option, the following happens:
If the current page is the first one of the serial
letter, all pages get printed.
If the current page is not the first one of the serial
letter, the Yap error message "MiKTeX Print Utility
failed for some reason." is displayed.
Possibly the problem is connected to the fact that the
DVI file in question contains repeated page numbers
(due to the fact that it represents a serial letter).
