Please add a defcustom that turns on threading when a
folder is entered. I had planned on doing this, and now
a user has requested it too.

I think the default should be nil though.

The name? I see gnus-show-threads so I'd say
mh-show-threads.

I checked and it seems gnus-show-threads is a boolean flag
(so according to our naming scheme it should be
mh-show-thread-flag). I was thinking of making the control
more fine grained -- if t folder is always threaded, nil
then folder is never threaded and with an integer value
folder is threaded if number of scan lines is below that
threshold. This would avoid performance problems with trying
    to thread really large folders.

    Thoughts?

Good idea, but I think we should let mh-large-folder do that
    work.

And you're right, mh-show-threads-flag. Plural, right?

Good idea of using mh-large-folders. Yes, also the option
    should be called mh-show-threads-flag.
