Hi Barbara,

MeV version 4.0 comes with a couple of Agilent data files including a pattern file.
I didn't develop this loader and I'm not very familiar with the format but I think it's the file from
the scanner that describes the orientation of the slide.

There is a pattern file in the 'data\other_format' that you can open to verify the
nature of the required file.

*Others receiving this include the person who developed the Agilent loader and
may have additional information.

Hope this helps,

Subject: "Pattern file"

I have an Agilent microarray and want to run the MeV software.  I can load the text file easily enough (page 14 of the manual), but what is the "pattern" file that I need to load?  Is this the design file that I get from Agilent that contains the probe sequences, or is it the file from the scanner that contains the spot location (grids)?
