Is it installed correctly? It doesn't seem like that undefined symbol
error should occur.
Try recompiling with -Wl,--no-undefined in your CFLAGS and see where
the error comes up. I imagine/hope that information would be
interesting/useful to a developer..

Well I use openSUSE 11 and did a full upgrade from the Xorg 7.3 repo, I
double checked all the packages.

well, one month has passed since I tried the upgrade (and then roll it back
because of this problem), I will try to upgrade again to see if there new
releases in the repo, if the problem persist I will recompile.
