Ah, that's good to know. :) I assumed that they were deprecated, but
that is clearly not the case.

True, but it's not going to be a high priority for the time being now that
I have a working version installed again. I will get to it eventually,
though. I'll probably update to GCC 3.0.x as well so that I can feel a
little more certain that my compiler is stable.
