Whats wrong here? I`m using Eggdrop v1.6.15 with tcl
8.3.. file permissions and others are ok too.

    I can't reproduce this unless I remove the line after
    [rotation] from settings.mel manually.
    Starting up with no settings.mel doesn't give this error either.
    Can you look in your eggdrop's logfile and see what the last
    changes to mel were?

    ok I found the problem. I removed the directory from the old
    version of mel, and created it again. Now it works.
