I use the following config.xml to transcode mkv:
if I launch the mencoder command alone transcoding works fine.
When I try to play the movie on my tv I have a message like unsupported format.
If I connect to Mediatomb via browser and manually edit Mimetype from video/matroska to video/avi the video works fine on the tv.
So I change in the config.cml
<map from="mkv" to="video/matroska"/>
<map from="mkv" to="video/avi"/>
The video is played and I think is transcoded because I experience a audio delay.
The think is that I really do not understand the logic behind all this. Any idea?
Apparently the file is not transcoded because if I disable transcoding the mkv is visible on the TV but with audio delay.
Is there a way I can force transcoding on mkv?
Even when transcoding is enabled the in the logs there is no trace of transcoding.
