Hi there,
I'm trying to use MediaTomb on my Netgear WNR3500L router running Tomato firmware. I can install it fine via Optware and start it as a daemon but trying to connect to 192.168.1.1:50500 fails in my browser. I checked the log and it just says
2011-12-09 22:58:04 INFO: Loading configuration from: /opt/etc/mediatomb/config.xml 2011-12-09 22:58:04 INFO: Checking configuration... 2011-12-09 22:58:04 INFO: Setting filesystem import charset to ASCII 2011-12-09 22:58:04 INFO: Setting metadata import charset to ASCII 2011-12-09 22:58:04 INFO: Setting playlist charset to ASCII 2011-12-09 22:58:04 INFO: Configuration check succeeded.
No mention of the web interface starting as I have seen for other people. The question is simple: Why? And what to do to fix it?
TIA SoWhy
Check to see if the UI is enabled in the configuration file. It should be under the <server> section.
e.g: This is what I have
<server> <ui enabled="yes" show-tooltips="yes">
