I download the latest Static Arm binary. Loaded on to this Arm Soc system.  The program looks like it run's ok. I can access it the config via webbrowser, but when I look at the ethernet traces. I do not see any multicast coming out from 239.255.255.239:1900.

Also when I start the shell script its starts approx 10 process is this normal?

    Any suggestions?

    V.

Let me guess, a Marvell Orion based hardware (like QNAP and some others)?

Sorry, can't help you, we tried to investigate the issue with the help of one of our users but were not able to find a solution - the problen is the same on all deviecs that are based on this reference design.

However, the dynamically linked packages provided by Optware do work, so you might want to check if Optware offers a feed for your device.

The 10 processes are OK, threads are displayed as processes on some systems, so that's normal.

      Kind regards,
      Jin
