Thought I'd share a web app I wrote to view/update MT_CDS_OBJECT table. Needs Apache, PHP-PDO and Sencha's ExtJS library.

You can download it here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/o36kbt

    Hi!

Do you have a working demo of your updater?

    Thanks

    Simon :)

  • Actually no, I haven't, But if you have some experience in setting up a LAMP or WAMP site it shouldn't be too difficult

    Hi!

I tried, but nothing works (lamp ubuntu 10.10 LTS server) .  I have a empty table.  The database connection is good.  Same connection info are used into phpmyadmin and works fine.

    Any solution?
    Any idea?

    Thanks greatly

  • There are a number of things that can go wrong. Since you got phpmyadmin working, I am assuming the LAMP server setup is ok. The next likely cause in your case is database access. You should find hints of what's going on in apache's log file. On my machine (a Fedora box), it is located in /var/log/httpd/error_log; not sure if it's the same on Ubuntu…
Also, as explained in the README.txt, remember to remove the comment (#) from the lines relevant to a MySQL connection in file gridtest.php. There are two places that need to be amended, for a total of 4 lines; search for string "If using MySQL"
