  • Hi all,
    I bought an LCD TV Sharp Aquos LC-40LE820E with DLNA support.
    Then i installed mediatomb in my ubuntu but it doesn't work. I monitored with wireshark that there are two  packets exchanged between Tv and server, but the TV seem doesn't recognize the  server.
    This is my modified  config.xml :

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

    Hello

    I also bought a Sharp Aquos LC-40LE820E a few months ago. When installing it I discovered **it doesn't support video when connected to a DLNA. Documentation is clear: only music (LPCM) and pictures (JPEG) are supported. So the seller accepted to exchange it for a LC-40LE814E.
    With this new model I succeed to configure Mediatomb for video … but not for music and photos.

    Cheers
    Pierre**

  • Thank You,
    interesting, probably is a marketing politics. However i didn't succeed to watch nothing.
    I tried with "mezzmo" on a windows server and it works fine.
    Probably there is something wrong on my Mediatomb configuration.
    thanks again
    bruno

    See my other post with my configuration file: https://sourceforge.net/projects/mediatomb/forums/forum/440751/topic/4037856

    I also tried many DLNA severs and only MEZZMO seems to be fully compliant with SHARP AQUOS (video + music + photos). Unfortunately it is only available for Windows and it is not compatible with my other DLNA renderer (FreeBox HD)
