Please clarify the definition used by MediaInfo for the M parameter in the GOP.
Wikipedia defines it as the GOP size; the length between two I and P frames. Adobe Media Encoder defines it as the number of B-Frames between consecutive I and P frames. So would M=3 be IBBP or IBBBP?
This regards H.264 files, but I assume the definition is standard for all. Thank you.
I use the classic convention described in Wikipedia.
M=3, N=12 --> GOP structure is IBBPBBPBBPBBI
