  • Hello,

I have ProRes files (.mov), and the two fields "Frame count" and "Source Frame count" show different values (1 frame more in the 'source').
Do you know what is the difference between those two fields?
What is "Source Frame count" exactly?
Do you confirm the actual frame count of the file is shown in "Frame count"?

    Thanks a lot.

"Source Frame count" is the frame count in the underlying MOV media track (real data inside your MOV file)
"Frame count" is the frame count of the virtual track (edit list) referencing your media track (the content played).

Do you confirm the actual frame count of the file is shown in "Frame count"?

I can confirm nothing without the file. MediaInfo tries its best to display information, but bugs are not impossible.
