    Hello,

    I use command line to read informations about MKV files.
    I have a lot of informations, but not crop values (left, up, right, down).

    I think this information is in "General" because I took a MKV file and modified crop values with MKVmerge's "Header editor" without remuxing the file.
    But the only crop parameter I can see in MediaInfo help is in "Video". And if I try to use it, the answer is allways null.
    I mean I should see "0,100,0,100", but the answer is "".

    Thank you for comming responds.

  • I have a lot of informations, but not crop values (left, up, right, down).

    It is currently not supported by MediaInfo.
    Please add a feature request with a sample file.

    I think this information is in "General"

    crop values would be in "Video" part because this information is specific to a video track.

    And if I try to use it, the answer is allways null.

    Which "question" do you?

    If it's not curently supported by MediaInfo, it doesn't matter, and it means I am the first to ask for it, and the only one to use it.

    Of course you're wright, crop is specific to video.

    I use a batch file to read informations of MKV files, and the command line in the batch file uses a text file and put the result in an other text file.

    The content of the batch file "MediaInfo_NAS.bat" :

    @echo off

    ping NAS-8A-71-9C > NUL
    IF ERRORLEVEL 1 goto next1

    echo.
    echo NAS-8A-71-9C OK
    echo ===============

    echo.
    echo listing : \\NAS-8A-71-9C\media\Videos\Films\*.MKV
    mediainfo.exe --output=file://Minimum.txt \\NAS-8A-71-9C\media\Videos\Films\*.MKV > MediaInfo_NAS.txt

    echo.
    goto end1

    :next1
    echo NAS-8A-71-9C KO

    :end1

    pause
