When loading the datafile, I encountered several
different errors that I had to figure out on my own
because the MDR would not report an specific error.
All it would report is that it could not open the
file or that it could not recognize file format. A
problem I ran into was that in our studies some
individuals were Unknown for affectation and I
thought that another value besides 0 or 1 one work
for affectation and it did not. It took me a while to
figure out that the problem was with affectation, and
I only figured it out because I was trying to use the
Data Conversion Tool and it gave me that error
message.
