Since Maxima has dozens of changes in every release, it would make the documentation incomprehensible we compare the current version to any previous version. For this reason I am pretty strongly convinced the documentation must describe the current version alone. Except, I suppose, for unusual circumstances; this isn't one, I don't think. If the 'dumb' terminal is now supported, it seems appropriate to give it the same level of description as for any other terminal. That might mean just putting it on the list of supported terminals and cutting out the special mention shown above. best Robert Dodier |
