Category: Installation Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Peter Simons (peti) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: "make check" does not abort if test errors occurred Initial Comment: Automated build system used by distributors such as Gentoo, ArchLinux, or NixOS assume that "make check" returns with a non-zero error code if tests failed. Maxima doesn't seem to do that, however. I just got a test failure (reported a minute ago), but the build process just went on without signalling the problem. This is bad, because it means that test failures will go unnoticed. I just noticed this one more or less by coincidence. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=104933&aid=3365831&group_id=4933 |
