#6 80/132 column switching doesn't work

I'm try to activate this feature, but it seems not to work.
If I send the sequence "\e[?3l" or "\e[?3h" to the
terminal, it "shrinks" and gives me
mrxvt: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for
operation)

error.
I'm using last version 0.4.2
