I am trying to run bwa on a computer based on an intel i7 processor with 8gb of RAM and running Fedora 11.

The program compiles but with warnings:
------
gcc -c -g -Wall -O2 -m64 -DHAVE_PTHREAD bntseq.c -o bntseq.o
bntseq.c: In function ‘bns_restore’:
bntseq.c:98: warning: format ‘%lld’ expects type ‘long long int *’, but argument 3 has type ‘int64_t *’
bntseq.c:113: warning: format ‘%lld’ expects type ‘long long int *’, but argument 3 has type ‘int64_t *’
bntseq.c:122: warning: format ‘%lld’ expects type ‘long long int *’, but argument 3 has type ‘int64_t *’
bntseq.c:127: warning: format ‘%lld’ expects type ‘long long int *’, but argument 3 has type ‘int64_t *’
gcc -c -g -Wall -O2 -m64 -DHAVE_PTHREAD bwtmisc.c -o bwtmisc.o
-------

Also, the program fails to map tags:

[bwa_aln] 17bp reads: max_diff = 2
[bwa_aln] 38bp reads: max_diff = 3
[bwa_aln] 64bp reads: max_diff = 4
[bwa_aln] 93bp reads: max_diff = 5
[bwa_aln] 124bp reads: max_diff = 6
[bwa_aln] 157bp reads: max_diff = 7
[bwa_aln] 190bp reads: max_diff = 8
[bwa_aln] 225bp reads: max_diff = 9

[bwa_aln_core] calculate SA coordinate... Segmentation fault

Any ideas?
