Mapivi currently searches PlugIns only in $program_data_path. This inhibits the user to actually write plugins himself, all plugins have to be installed by root system wide. Instead of $program_data_path mapivi should search plugins in $user_data_path as well and collect the summary of both dir's plugins.

Another option, probably desirable as it would allow to disable system wide plugins, would be to search in $user_data_path/PlugIns only and populate that dir by system wide plugins if it does not exist upon program startup.

  • Alled user specific PlugIn path. Both path will be scanned and all PlugIns will be added to the Menu. System-wide (top) and user-specific (bottom) PlugIns are separated by a horizontal line in the menu.
    Thanks for the suggestion!
