Hi Brent, There are 2 ways to do this, for both the map bbox, and an AOI (drawn over the map) By URL parameter: http://localhost:8080/mapbuilder/demo/basic/index.html?bbox=0,0,50,50 For bbox, and: http://localhost:8080/mapbuilder/demo/basic/index.html?aoi=0,0,50,50 For AOI. By javascript function calls: <a href="javascript:config.objects.mainMap.setParam('bbox', new Array(-25,-25,30,50)))">set a new bbox</a> <a href="javascript:alert('hover over this link to see the AOI')" onmouseover="config.objects.mainMap.setParam('aoi', new Array(new Array(-25,50),new Array(30,-25)))">Highlight an Area of Interest (AOI)</a> (They use 2 different array types we should fix that so they are consistent) Mike > -----Original Message----- > From: map...@li... > [mailto:map...@li...] On > Behalf Of Brent Owens > Sent: May 28, 2006 10:35 AM > To: map...@li... > Subject: [Mapbuilder-users] Setting AOI manually > > Hello everyone, > > I want to write a little javascript function that will set > the area of interest (bounding box view) of the current map > displayed by MapBuilder. > I have the bounding box pre-generated.
