Organisations enforcing the use of old browser technology (IE6-7) are probably not going to be too keen on using the latest whiz bang version of MantisBT. I would have thought most organisations using MantisBT with IE6-7 browsers are still using MantisBT 1.1.x. I don't see the logic in holding back an organisation from using a current/recent browser version while allowing the organisation to use a bleeding edge version of MantisBT. It sounds to me like a strong case for upgrading browsers hasn't been put forward. Or in the event that the holdback is due to reliance on web interfaces using deprecated technology such as VBScript/ActiveX/Java Applets, a case for installing multiple browser versions to the same computer.
