I wanted to let everyone know that I've pulled the latest changes and features
for the source-integration plugins into the official mantisbt.org installation.
Some of the new nifties that I've implemented/configured include:
- Separation of changeset committer versus author
- History entries will be owned by the committer or author instead of no-one
- Commit messages containing phrases like "Issue #123" or "Bug #123,#234", etc
will continue to be linked the same way as before, by just adding a changeset
summary to the bottom of the issue view page.
- Commit messages containing phrases like "Fix #123" or "Fixes #123,#234", etc
will now automatically set the issue resolution to FIXED, and automatically set
the issue's fixed-in version based on the branch of the commit. Older version
branches are imported first, so they will receive precedence in this automation,
which follows our "standard" method of always setting fixed-in values to the
older/stable versions. Update notifications will be sent to users when this
The integration system also has the ability to add bugnotes and/or automatically
resolve issues with the "fix #123" message, but I have not yet enabled those on
the live site. I want to make sure that the message/branch detection work
properly before starting to automate bugnotes and issue resolving.
If you find any problems, peculiarities, or if you have any questions about
this, please discuss them here.
