I would like to thank everyone for their involvement in Mantis- it is a
great product developed by clearly talented people.
I'm new to the list and php, and am excited by the prospect of being
able to help.
I have created (er... hacked) a file that delivers an rss feed of issues
based on the logged in user's current filter.
I too have an interest in having a feed of issues in my browser while I
am working on other things. It is kind of like having it without going
to it. I have made a couple of additions to the comments in issue
If you have not logged into mantis, the feed returns a log in link.
The filter that you set in view issues is the filter used by the rss feed.
If you use Firefox 'Live Bookmarks', you will only see the titles - but
if you use Sage (for Firefox) you can see more of the issue details.
It is hardwired to update every hour - which should be considered for a
configuration option .
I have a couple of questions:
Could someone look at this and give me feedback on areas that need to be
cleaned up or improved?
Would I upload the attached file to the issue with comments? What
happens after that?
Is there a location that describes other types of submission and
procedures? I am getting familiar with patch, which describes changes
to current files - but do you include new files in a zip?
