Just curious if anyone has found a workaround to this issue.  I've included a required custom field to the bug reporting form.  Inevitably, users type in a long description of the issue and forget to include the custom field value.  When they click the submit report button, an error is returned b/c the required field did not have  a value.  When they hit the Back button to revisit the form, all previously entered values are cleared and have to be re-entered.

Any thoughts?
