What is this supposed to provide? It is not documented, so can only assume it is used to allow customers to enter and view their own tickets.
I would like the customers to be able to view the status of their tickets - is this possible?
The Customer Settings are for allowing customers to log in and see their own tickets. They can see all of the ticket information apart from any private notes you've added. You define which are their tickets by entering a list of email addresses.
It was a relatively new feature that hasn't been tested thoroughly by us - but we haven't received any bug reports on it.
Thanks Andrew, through a process of elimination I managed to suss out the email list it was refering to. Since I have started creating another, slightly different, support site I have discovered some other features which just add icing to the cake - great work.
PS Looking forward to the 1.1 (final) release - hint!
