-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi there, Just to add my 2 cents. I found announcements like "madwifi is dead" counterproductive. People are free to contribute to any project they like. "We" can just encourage people to contribute to ath5k if people think ath5k is "better". Since trunk is "dead", I think nobody would care if I break it once again, so here is my proposition: - - I can quickly merge madwifi-dfs back to trunk - - I can add some work i can document like calibration, IBSS merge, proper support for something else than AR5212 (which I've been focusing one too much) and TXQ stuff - - If people are OK, I can document most of the work I've done since I've been learning lots of stuff that could be useful for ath5k. - - I could extend and publish my test document (yes, I have done regression testing...). I could publish my testing scripts, mainly focussed on IBSS merge and DFS. Sorry, no ETA for that. I should take 2 - 3 days of man work. Comments? Regards, Benoit PS: I've been trying ath5k, but just got a big kernel panic :-(. So, i cannot say it's quite stable, except if people tell me what git tree I should use (I have tested wireless-testing). -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.6 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFI4UXPOR6EySwP7oIRAtliAKDlRU+GE65WWDpsWBR5uNZtbBA+gACgxZWg nzPY/4LFPjTsnQZOUuXQUO4= =3hdD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |
