I might have experienced it. Try doing doing a "ifconfig ath0 down" and an "ifconfig ath0 up", I think i= t does the trick for me. Generally, changing settings on a "live" radio interface can cause problems= . If you want to play it safe "down" the interface, change settings and t= hen "up" the interface. //JT -----Original Message----- From: frederick tan <pip...@ya...> To: mad...@li... However, when I turn off the key, and I turn off the key in the client, it doesn't work anymore. I can associate but I cannot ping the AP. Did anyone experience this? AP(ip add=3D1.1.1.1) 1)iwconfig ath0 key s:fredt =20 STA 1)iwconfig ath0 key s:fredt 2)ping 1.1.1.1 (ok) AP 1)iwconfig ath0 key off STA 1)iwconfig ath0 key off 2)ping 1.1.1.1 (does not work) Do you know what's happening? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks! Regards, Fred =09=09 __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! Mail Address AutoComplete - You start.
