For those of you still having problems with kernel-18.104.22.168, the fix patches
do work. I have tested it against 2.4.x , 2.6.7, 2.6.8 , 22.214.171.124 and
I have also written a small bash script for pulling the source codes from
cvs, update the remaned directories and remove the CVS directories. The
script works but it's still not complete. It's very well documented.
run the script with 'sh madwifi-cvs.sh'
I have also attached the kernel 126.96.36.199 patches that have worked for me. it
patches clean with no failed hunks.
After running the bash script (if you choose to), copy the patches to the
same directory/location as the madwifi drivers source and patch with 'patch
-p0 -s < madwifi-188.8.131.52-fix.patch' and if you want the multiple ssid,
support, do the same for the other patch
I hope those struggling with this find this useful.
Thanks to the guys doing the hard work and making this accessible to us.
I still can not get wpa to work with WE-17, which is the 184.108.40.206-mm patches.
