I cannot prevent madwifi-ng from scanning regularly although I
configured explicitely all the following.
accesspoint's MAC address
The problem is with the scanning that it interrupts my sessions --
which is more than just tedious.
Is there any way to definitely stop madwifi-ng scanning for anything
once the association was successful?
Thanks for any help.

Probably want to put this somewhere in your OS/distro's network up
scripts as well.
