Am trying to bringup Atheros drivers in FC10 with following details
rmmod -w ath_pci
wlanconfig ath0 create wlandev wifi0 wlanmode sta
wlanconfig: ioctl: Input/Output Error.
Many a times I made sure that the drivers a removed properly and rebooted. But situation persist.

I think you already have ath0 when you run wlanconfig. Recent versions
of MadWifi create an interface in managed more by default, and it's
called ath0. Also, having two interfaces in managed mode is not

the goal. Make sure you are not using obsolete documentation.
