I've patched madwifi 0.9.4 for an experiment I'm working on. I'm sending
ACKs in software so I've create an additional queue and setup the AIFS
and CWMin/CWMax to "0" (after I've let the HAL initialize the queue
registers). It works surprisingly well (at the rates I'm using) except I
had to increase the ACKtimeout because the injected packet seems to wait
for a DIFS before sending rather than the SIFS. Is there any magic that
I maybe missing to ensure that packets injected on this queue wait no
more than a SIFS?
