I just created the WDS-branch in CVS. All work related to introducing
fully-fledged WDS support to Madwifi should happen in this branch.
I'll send another mail to madwifi-devel later today which explains what
we have now. Hopefully it will also be the start of a nice discussion
about how the WDS implementation should look like when it's done :)
If you want to give the WDS-branch a try, I suggest to use the following
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@...:/cvsroot/madwifi \
co -r WDS -d madwifi-wds madwifi
The parameter "-r WDS" is to tell cvs to check code out of the WDS
branch instead out of HEAD.
"-d madwifi-wds" will make cvs write the source to the madwifi-wds/
directory instead to madwifi/. This makes it easier to distinct between
the HEAD branch (in madwifi/) and the WDS branch (in madwifi-wds/) in
case you have both.
In case you want to bring your current HEAD snapshot to WDS, use:
cvs up -r WDS
