I appreciate the responses, but I noticed a tag "Thus spake ...... "
with my email address in plain text.
These email conversations are archived in are available in the public
domain and having my official email address in the public domain is a
lot of trouble.
I request people to not include that line in future conversations.
Thanks for sharing your patch in a very convinient way.
However, I would like to point out somethings regarding the CS patch.
The mentioned patch switches off the RX module of the chipset. Thus the node does not even respect the reception of the mac ACK for a UDP frame.
This adversely affects the throughput.
Did you face the same issue or is there some error in my merge of your patch and the 0.9.4 madwifi driver?
e-mail me if you have any questions. It's rough, but it works, at least
on all the cards I've been able to try.

I would point out how email works (i.e., from headers) but this is a
public list, so tough luck. Sorry.
