A friend has created a C program to execute shortcuts on GNU/Linux, using touchs on the left and right side of a macbook screen, using the applesmc.

You can download this software on the download mirror on my blog (it is in spanish but there is not difficult to find it).

After you have to install the package "lineakd" and modprobe the applesmc module. After this you can compile this software with a make and execute this software with a configuration file. There are some configuration files on the tar.gz but you can create it, it is too much easy.

I resume it, for example:

- Download the file
tar -xvvzf mactap*
cd mactap*
make
modprobe applesmc
apt-get install lineakd
./mactap mactap-compiz.conf
