Conflict w instrctns runig MacFan on MacPro

  • Gee

    Hello and thank you for your hard work.

    In the release notes you say;
    "For MacPro users, control of the Power Supply Fan is currently not working. Make sure you always
    pass 0 as the fourth argument in order to not attempt to control the power supply fan.
    Passing anything except 0 as the speed for your 4th fan could result in damage to your computer."

    I have a 2009 Mac Pro 8 Core (Model ID = 4,1)
    It has 6 fans
    Running MacFan.exe it only reports 4 fans #0… #1… #2… #3…
    However #1 is (PS) Power Supply Fan not the 4th fan, or in the reported sequence #3, as it says in your notes/instructions.

    Does that mean in this case it would be;
    MacFan.exe 1500 0 900 2000     ???

    Can u please clarify this?

    Thanks a lot.
    Sincerely, Gee.

    P.S. - Will there be any updates to this program?

    Thanks again.
