Mac4Lin 1.0.1 Documentation is now released and available on the Mac4Lin 1.0 Download Page. It includes updated instructions and some extra tweaks.

Mac4Lin SVN was down for sometime. Its up again now. I've restructured the whole package and updated some files (Mac4Lin GTK Splash folder is now included!). Kindly sync your copy again.

Due to a developer glitch the GTK themes in the Mac4Lin 1.0 RC return an error on the Theme tab of the Appearance Preferences dialog. We have fixed the themes and will be posting them here in the not too distant future. In the meantime you can find them, with installation instructions, on our <a href="http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=6238437#postcount6241404">Ubuntu Forums support thread</a>.
Anirudh and I have been trying to get the current version of the PDF documentation for Mac4Lin 1.0 posted but we're having trouble getting me permission to upload it here. Mac4Lin v1.0 RC released! Head to the download section and get your copy today.
This is to inform all that Mac4Lin v0.4 is not fully compatible with GNOME 2.22 (available in the latest versions of Ubuntu, Fedora, openSUSE etc.). Hence the users may observe some discrepancies.
The newest version of Mac4lin - v1.0 is in beta stage now and would be released shortly. This version would be fully compatible with GNOME 2.22
With Mac4Lin maturing on the GNOME, I now plan to extend the project to KDE. I invite KDE UI developers to the Mac4Lin Project. All those KDE guys/gals who are interested in porting Mac4Lin to KDE can mail me.
Oh and some good news: Mac4Lin completes 5.8 TB worth downloads! :)

Your favorite Mac4Lin is back! A new version, more changes, better looks and an overall more polished product. Please read changelog for information of changes in this version. It gives me immense pleasure to inform all that downloads have crossed 2.6 TB till date!
Please go through the Documentation for illustrated installation instructions. Also some entities like GTK Metacity theme etc. now include two versions. Hence individual README files are included only if there is a need to convey release specific information which the generic documentation does not include. Please read the README file for more details in such cases.
Yes folks, you read it right! Mac4Lin, as of today, has completed 1.3 TeraBytes of download. I had never imagined that this project would attract people from all over the world. I'd like to thank everyone for their support.
An icon update for GNOME 2.20 (which works for Ubuntu 7.10, OpenSUSE 10.3 and other newer GNU/Linux releases) has been released.
Mac4Lin ver.0.3 has been released. This release however limits the icon theme usage to GNOME 2.18. An icon theme for GNOME 2.20 is in progress and will be released soon.
Mac4Lin version 0.2 has been released today.
An icon update is due to be released soon.
An alpha version of the project has been released. Plz download, test and report back any comments, suggestions and bugs.
